Coach Ty kicked off his college basketball career at Central Lakes College (D3 JUCO) before transferring to Northland College (D3 NCAA). His time as a student-athlete gave him a deep understanding of the game and that passion quickly shifted toward helping others grow through coaching and skill development.

He got his start with E1T1 AAU, where they competed against some of the top programs in the country, where he was part of a national championship run. That experience fueled his drive to coach at a higher level and impact players on and off the court.

Coach Ty later joined Osseo Senior High as the 9th Grade Assistant Coach, where he focused heavily on individual skill development and preparing players for the next level. He’s also coached for Eastview traveling teams, leading with a strong .700 winning percentage, building both competitive teams and confident athletes.

Coach Ty brings a hands-on, high-energy approach to every session. He’s all about building confidence, sharpening skills, and helping athletes take real steps forward.
